ROTARIANS donned their Christmas gear to celebrate the Rotary Club of Narre Warren’s annual Christmas party last week.

About 50 guests attended the dinner at eightyone in Berwick on Wednesday night.

The year had been a busy one for the rotary club, according to club president Tim Fisher.

Highlights have included the Berwick Highland Gathering held in February, cheque presentations to the Narre Warren and Narre Warren North fire brigades, a school renovation project in Tonga worth about $20,000 and the 2009 Mayoral Shield Charity Golf Day, which raised between $15,000 and $20,000.

The club also supports Operation New Start in the City of Casey, which is a program that works with young, disengaged students in the community.
